About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repair and regularly service dialysis machines
- Keep dialysis treatments operational in DaVita clinics
- Provide biomedical equipment support for the Lehighton, Pennsylvania area
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Travel between clinics using a personal automobile
- Provide emergency response coverage
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Complete DaVita-specific training and certification
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical abilities and repair experience or demonstrated aptitude for mechanical work
- Strong electronics knowledge and diagnostics
- Great communication skills
- Tech savvy and able to troubleshoot with ease
- Solid computer skills
- Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), the internet, and computer applications
- Availability for on-call rotations when needed
- High School Diploma or GED required at time of onboarding
- Valid driver’s license within the state of application
- Valid automobile insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- Reside fairly close to the clinics and hospitals in the service area
- Ability to drive own automobile between clinics
- Willingness to be trained and certified for the role
