Certified Dialysis Technician, Acute Float

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Set up dialysis machines and observe treatment
- Support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care
- Educate patients on dialysis-related topics
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
- Float between acute-care locations as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
- Dialysis experience with certification (CCHT/BONENT) required
- CHT, BONENT certified
- Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
- Flexibility to float between locations as needed
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible
