About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Vice President and head of Medicare and Credits Operations to maximize collection speed, optimize Medicare recovery rates, and eliminate revenue-cycle leakage
  • Diagnose Medicare billing, claims adjudication, appeals, and credit-balance workflow bottlenecks
  • Lead operational teardowns using claims, billing, and payment-variance data to identify high-impact interventions
  • Redesign workflows, optimize recovery pathways, and accelerate resolution across Medicare and credit-balance portfolios
  • Build revenue forecasting models, KPI baselines, variance-analysis frameworks, and proactive performance reporting
  • Improve data governance and Tableau/BI dashboards for self-service operational and executive insights
  • Author technology capability roadmaps bridging business operations and IT
  • Drive adoption of AI, machine learning, predictive modeling, and intelligent workflow automation
  • Define and track ROI metrics for technology deployments
  • Manage strategic cross-functional initiatives across Revenue Operations, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Payer Contracting
  • Apply change-management methodologies and deliver executive-level business cases and data-driven presentations
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and analysts while building succession pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of progressive professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, revenue operations, business analytics, or operational transformation
  • Management consulting experience from a top-tier firm or specialized healthcare/operations consultancy strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, including direct people management of analysts and/or managers
  • Proven ability to translate strategic insights into operational execution, diagnose process bottlenecks, and deliver measurable financial or operational outcomes
  • Strong proficiency with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MS) preferred
