Division Vice President – DVP
DaVita Kidney Care. Lead a team of 5–6 Regional Operations Directors and oversee multi-site chronic dialysis centers and home dialysis programs .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of 5–6 Regional Operations Directors and oversee multi-site chronic dialysis centers and home dialysis programs
- Oversee operations within an assigned division and ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care
- Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities and lead division performance
- Provide leadership, supervision, development and accountability for direct reports and division staff
- Manage teammate employment activities including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, compensation, relations, discipline and terminations
- Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for the division
- Track metrics, success criteria and ROI for activities
- Analyze center trends affecting patient service delivery
- Identify and address gaps in service excellence, policies and procedures
- Lead teammate development processes and succession planning
- Manage financial and revenue growth, operations, labor, contracts and clinical outcomes
- Develop and implement programs, operational improvements and communications across chronic, acute, PD and home modalities
- Maintain competitive awareness and conduct SWOT analysis
- Leverage DaVita’s acute strategy for hospital joint ventures
- Participate in joint venture business meetings
- Lead business development for division operations
- Liaise between corporate office and field operations
- Collaborate with field management, legal, finance and other departments
- Maintain communication with the GVP regarding Field Operations
- Develop and maintain knowledgeable, skilled teammates compliant with regulations and DaVita’s mission and values
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong alignment with DaVita’s Mission and Values
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- MBA strongly preferred
- Prior experience in management consulting
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive management experience required
- Strong leadership acumen
- Successful team management and development
- Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership
- Demonstrated financial expertise
- Healthcare industry background a plus
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required
- Intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required
- Travel required: 25%
