About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary technical liaison between Marketing and Enterprise IT
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions
Design, build, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and automated solutions
Develop and support secure middleware and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services integrating with DaVita enterprise systems
Support and execute cloud database migrations and architecture modernization
Design, implement, and maintain integrations between digital platforms and Salesforce
Support database interactions and data management in Microsoft SQL Server and Google Cloud SQL
Optimize application security, risk compliance, and back-end performance according to OWASP best practices
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, contributing to architecture decisions, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and engineering standards
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and cross-functional partners using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of professional software development experience focusing on back-end engineering, middleware, and systems integration
Deep technical proficiency in building Node.js middleware and API integration layers
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery and Cloud SQL
Advanced proficiency in SQL database design, querying, management, and executing cloud database migrations
Comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
