About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct, hands-on patient care under RN supervision in an outpatient dialysis clinic
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
- Support patients with end-stage renal disease through life-sustaining dialysis treatment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass a background and drug screen
- Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
- Required schedule: Monday through Saturday, 4–3 shifts per week, rotating opening and closing shifts, every other Saturday
- Ability to work shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on the day and need
