About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
  • Provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision
  • Float to surrounding clinics in the greater Fort Wayne area after training and demonstrated proficiency in the dialysis process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Willing to float between local clinics when scheduled
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Pass a background and drug test
  • Reliable transportation to confirm shift attendance and mitigate calling off due to transportation or weather
  • Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
