About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct, hands-on patient care under RN supervision during life-sustaining dialysis treatment
  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
  • Float between local dialysis clinics as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in dialysis, required
  • Prior experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in a dialysis setting is preferred
  • Strong preference for experience in In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD)
  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (GED) credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience preferred
