About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Work directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
- Work across Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital locations in New Brunswick, Rahway, and Somerset
- Respond to changing daily schedules based on patient needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
- CNN/CDN certification preferred
- Must pass a color vision test
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, potentially including a booster when eligible
- Ability to work 3 days per week, including every other Saturday
- Ability to work 7am–7pm shifts
- Availability for regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to rotate between facilities as needed
