About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
- Float to nearby clinics as needed
- Provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions
- Complete paid training, potentially at a clinic other than the home location
- Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Flexible schedule required
- Ability to work 3–4 days per week, rotating Monday–Saturday
- Ability to work shifts of 10–14 hours, potentially starting at 4 a.m. and ending as late as 11 p.m.
- No dialysis experience required
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg preferred but not required
- CNN/CDN certification preferred but not required
