Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide life-saving direct patient care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting
  • Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
  • Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
  • Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
  • Float to nearby clinics as needed
  • Complete training, which may occur at a clinic other than the home location
  • Build long-term patient relationships in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Apply broad nursing skills to medically complex patients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Dialysis experience required at this time
  • RN license in the state of practice
  • ADN required
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Reliable transportation for potential floating
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Preferred: Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg
  • Preferred: CNN/CDN certification
  • BSN preferred
