About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
- Float to nearby clinics as needed
- Participate in training, which may occur at a clinic other than the home location
- Provide care in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Build long-term patient relationships
- Apply broad nursing skills with medically complex patients
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Flexible schedule required
- Preferred: Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg
- Preferred: CNN/CDN certification
- No dialysis experience required
