About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
- Float to nearby dialysis clinics as needed
- Work with patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions
- Attend paid training, potentially at a clinic other than the home location
- Build long-term patient relationships and apply broad nursing skills in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable floating between locations within a 30 to 40-minute radius of Ypsilanti, MI
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg preferred, not required
- CNN/CDN certification preferred, not required
- No dialysis experience required
