About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
- Float to nearby clinics as needed
- Work 2 days per week in Mesquite and 1 day per week in another Southern Utah clinic
- Work shifts of 8–12 hours scheduled in advance
- Rotate shifts between Monday and Saturday; clinics are closed Sundays
- Attend training, potentially at a clinic other than the home location
- Provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- At least 1 year of post-graduate nursing experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Flexible schedule required
- Ability to work shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preferred: experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg
- Preferred: CNN/CDN certification
- Preferred: Charge Nurse experience
- No dialysis experience required
