About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce and maintain regular management reports and dashboards
- Monitor and analyse key business metrics, trends and performance indicators
- Identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends through data analysis
- Support business performance reporting to management and key stakeholders
- Develop reporting solutions that improve visibility, consistency and decision-making
- Conduct forecasting, trend analysis and scenario modelling to support business planning
- Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Assist management in evaluating business opportunities and areas for improvement
- Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities through analytical input
- Translate data into meaningful management information and business intelligence
- Support the production and development of performance scorecards and reporting frameworks
- Track performance against agreed objectives and key metrics
- Provide analytical support to managers and business stakeholders
- Ensure performance data is accurate, timely and actionable
- Contribute to continuous improvement of performance measurement processes
- Support data quality improvement initiatives across business systems and processes
- Assist in maintaining data integrity, consistency and governance standards
- Identify data issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
- Contribute to reporting and data management process enhancements
- Support business readiness activities associated with system and technology initiatives
- Build working relationships across business functions
- Liaise between operational teams and support functions regarding reporting and analysis requirements
- Gather and document business requirements for reporting and analytical needs
- Present findings, insights and recommendations clearly and concisely
- Support projects and initiatives requiring analytical expertise and business insight
Requirements
What you’ll need- Third-level qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experience producing management information, performance reporting and business insights
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with stakeholders across different business areas
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (desirable)
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau (desirable)
- Experience supporting forecasting, planning or budgeting activities (desirable)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality management practices (desirable)
- Experience working within financial services or a regulated industry (desirable)
- Relevant professional qualifications or industry certifications (desirable)
