About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in operating and overseeing the development of investment solutions across all Davy Select business channels
  • Work with senior management on launching new Davy Select investment products
  • Manage complex and critical model management operations for investment solutions
  • Improve processes for investment selection, portfolio construction, and fund lists
  • Build relationships across business and operations areas
  • Work with the Davy Investment Team on investment strategy and investment selection initiatives
  • Act as a contact for investment-related queries between Davy Select Account Managers and Independent Financial Advisers
  • Provide investment analysis on funds and strategies
  • Contribute to intermediary and client events, internal investment seminars, and client meetings
  • Provide and maintain investment content for the Davy Select website
  • Attend investment conferences and seminars for CPD or investment-report contributions
  • Report to the Head of Investments and collaborate with the wider Davy Investment Team and Davy Select senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a business/finance related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the Investment Industry
  • Holder or working towards CFA and QFA qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Interest and understanding of investments and financial markets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent information technology capability, including high competence in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Must hold or be willing to take APA (Regulation & Investment), Registered Stockbroker, or QFA qualification, and for pensions APA (Pensions)
  • Must meet the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity Standards for CF3, CF4, and CF10
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
