About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Associate Director
- Act as a strategic finance partner to core business units
- Work with business unit managers to provide value-added decision support
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Lead the review of key business metrics and drivers
- Collaborate across the Finance team
- Model business scenarios to support project business cases and initiatives
- Drive group financial performance through commercial partnering and decision support
- Provide strategic analysis, value-based insight, and action-oriented insights into business performance and planning
- Develop and refine multi-year financial forecasts with business teams
- Monitor forecast progress and achievement against commercial objectives and team targets
- Provide commercial insights and scenario analysis for strategic decision-making
- Identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor financial impacts of investment plans and quantify benefits
- Enhance Finance processes and leverage emerging technologies including Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Snowflake
Requirements
What you’ll need- Sector experience in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or broader Financial Services
- Expertise in long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to align financial strategy with business goals and transformation agendas
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in performance management, profitability analysis, and investment appraisal
- Financial modelling and scenario planning
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leveraging technology to improve reporting, forecasting, and efficiency
- Deep understanding of financial controls, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with internal audit, risk mitigation, and policy development
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar senior Finance role
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) essential
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
