About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own workforce management for the clinician capacity, retention, utilization, and credentialing throughput of the largest revenue channel
  • Build and run systems to ensure sufficient clinicians, session volume, and appropriate costs
  • Own gross margin and unit economics, translating workforce performance into cost and margin impact
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify performance changes, root causes, and actions
  • Turn data and forecasts into recommendations and priorities for Clinical, Recruiting and Credentialing, Operations, Finance, Product, and Go-to-Market
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders who own execution
  • Own clinical review operations workflows, throughput, SLAs, and dependencies in partnership with Clinical leadership
  • Continuously optimize access, utilization, retention, cost efficiency, margin, and scalability
  • Present directly to executives and manage stakeholders who do not report to you

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Workforce or capacity planning experience, including forecasting supply and demand, managing a distributed or contract workforce, or scaling a service delivery team
  • Ownership of complex operational programs with direct accountability for measurable outcomes such as revenue, gross margin, retention, utilization, or cost
  • Strong analytical fluency, including independently investigating performance, identifying trends and root causes, and turning data into action
  • Business and financial acumen, including understanding operational impact on revenue, unit economics, and gross margin
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Self-directed prioritization across multiple workflows
  • Track record of turning messy, one-off work into documented, repeatable systems
  • Real use of AI for analysis, automation, process improvement, and reducing manual work
  • Willingness to work hands-on with dashboards, individual cases, conflicting data, lightweight fixes, and process testing
  • Strong executive communication
  • SQL, Google Apps Script, Looker or similar BI tools, workflow automation, or lightweight internal tools (nice to have)
  • Telehealth, behavioral health, K-12, health plan partnerships, or another operationally complex healthcare environment (nice to have)
