About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design end-to-end features on live product surfaces, including problem framing, flows, interaction, and visual detail
- Grow the Daybreak Design System with new patterns for product adjacencies
- Improve existing product surfaces based on user feedback
- Build and maintain Figma libraries, including components, variants, tokens, and documentation
- Keep the design system legible to AI tooling such as Claude Code
- Prototype flows and interactions in code with AI assistance
- Assist with user research, interviews, and usability sessions
- Translate research findings into actionable improvements
- Collaborate with product, engineering, enterprise services, and training teams from kickoff through release
- Maintain the quality bar for shipped product work
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years designing software products
- Strength in both UI and UX, including visual hierarchy, typography, density, tables, charts, problem framing, information architecture, and flows
- Experience building and maintaining Figma component libraries
- Experience using LLMs throughout the design process
- Ability to take a Figma frame to a working prototype with Claude Code or a comparable tool
- Portfolio with three or four detailed case studies showing problem framing, constraints, decisions, and outcomes
- Genuine interest in agentic products and planning software
- Resume and portfolio required
- Working knowledge of GitHub branches, commits, and pull requests is nice to have
- Exposure to supply chain, retail, CPG, or analytics products is nice to have
- Design system documentation is nice to have
