About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Oversee day-to-day security operations across the data center campus
- Coordinate and manage security personnel, training activities, and compliance with security protocols
- Manage access control systems, CCTV systems, and alarms
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments
- Develop and maintain incident response plans
- Lead responses to security incidents and breaches
- Liaise with external security providers and contractors
- Support contract management and vendor relationships
- Ensure consistent and high-quality security service delivery
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs
- Promote security awareness and vigilance across the campus
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Prepare regular security reports for senior management
- Maintain records of security incidents and corrective actions
- Manage security-related budgets and expenditures
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements to security systems and controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in security management, preferably within a data center or other high-security environment
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices
- Proficiency with security management software and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high integrity and a collaborative working style
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Finnish is considered a benefit
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, PSP, or equivalent are beneficial
