About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, and technical support activities for systems and applications
  • Maintain production systems by preventing and correcting failures, as well as implementing improvements and adaptations
  • Develop and maintain applications in accordance with the MDS (Systems Development Methodology), ensuring compliance with established standards
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to the development and maintenance of programs and systems, in accordance with the MDS
  • Plan and execute system tests, ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are met through controlled execution and validation of behavior against specifications
  • Act as a knowledge multiplier by supporting the team and delivering internal training when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with backend development in C# using .NET
  • Experience with unit testing in C#
  • Knowledge of frontend development with JavaScript
  • Familiarity with HTML 4/5, CSS, and jQuery
  • Experience with the DB2 relational database
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model: 10 business days per month onsite in downtown Porto Alegre, RS
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Java
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Jenkins to support continuous integration and delivery processes
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Angular frontend development
  • Nice to have: knowledge of architecture best practices, design patterns, and software quality
  • Nice to have: previous experience in corporate or financial environments
