About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the technical team in creating usage scenarios and user journeys (Q&A / scenario validation)
  • Lead and moderate ideation, brainstorming, co-creation, and group-dynamics sessions
  • Plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand user behavior
  • Translate insights into functional and efficient design solutions
  • Develop low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on the results
  • Create interfaces for mobile applications
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Design Systems
  • Work in partnership with product and technology teams and stakeholders
  • Work on a financial-sector project involving systems development, banking automation, and digital transformation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience moderating collaborative sessions, including ideation and co-creation
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles, techniques, and tools
  • Experience creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Knowledge of the Discovery process for digital products
  • Experience conducting usability testing
  • Experience developing mobile interfaces
  • Knowledge of Design Systems
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
  • Strong communication, proactivity, empathy, and negotiation skills
  • Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Porto Alegre, RS (two weeks working on-site at the client’s location)
  • Degree in Design (Interaction, Interface, Service, or Graphic Design with an emphasis on UX), Advertising, or a related field
  • Experience with product thinking
  • Experience with Product Discovery
  • Experience working closely with technology teams, supporting scenario definition, validation, and related activities
  • A portfolio demonstrating clearly defined UX Design projects is required
