About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support onboarding new starters and prepare onboarding documentation
  • Carry out Right to Work checks
  • Maintain accurate people records
  • Respond to employee queries
  • Help ensure HR processes remain compliant and efficient

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Organised, professional and eager to learn
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work accurately to deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Previous experience in an HR, administration, customer service or support environment (advantageous)
  • Experience using HR systems or working with people data (advantageous)
  • Understanding of HR administration activities such as onboarding, contracts or payroll processes (advantageous)
  • CIPD qualification or currently studying towards one, or relevant postgraduate study (advantageous)
  • Minimum 25 hours per week for part-time work; the description also states a minimum of 26 hours per week
  • Available to work at least 2 days per week in the Dundee office
