About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategy and communications for SEO accounts
  • Manage and collaborate on all work performed by SEO Specialists for the assigned book of business
  • Take on special projects with SEO leadership, including process improvement, SEO product pilots, and strategic research
  • Mentor and occasionally train non-Senior SEO Consultants on company processes, SEO best practices, and day-to-day questions
  • Drive innovation in SEO services by sharing ideas, tracking industry changes, and testing and documenting strategy experiments
  • Lead client communications and campaign strategy
  • Perform quality control for campaign tasks, including optimizations, link building, review responses, blog posts, social media posts, reports, and client deliverables
  • Work with SEO Specialists on account communications, optimizations, link building, review responses, blog posts, social media posts, reports, and client deliverables
  • Run strategy and reporting calls for SEO clients and provide impactful campaign suggestions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years SEO experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Excel and Word
  • Experience with SEO/Site auditing tools, including Screaming Frog
  • Excellent content writing and content editing ability
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and data analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience preferred
  • Experience in Local SEO preferred
  • Ability to confidently communicate with car dealers
  • PR and outreach experience
  • Experience leading and working with international teams
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud, including Photoshop
  • Open to US residents only
  • Successful candidate must pass a background check as a condition of joining the team
