About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own projects end to end, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
Build and maintain web applications and integrations for internal teams
Extend the internal contract and revenue platform and create new tools from scratch
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, People, and Recruiting to identify automation opportunities
Determine whether use cases require a custom build, AI vendor, or hybrid approach
Work on billing, revenue recognition, usage data ingestion, and reconciliation across internal data, the ERP, and Salesforce
Build AI interfaces including MCP servers, skills, and agent-facing tooling
Enable business power users to handle simpler automations
Measure and communicate impact to leadership, including time saved, cost reduced, and errors eliminated

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of hands-on experience building internal tools, systems, and automations that business teams rely on
Experience owning projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing maintenance
Technical ability to build production-quality internal tools
Strong generalist capability across business systems and/or revenue and finance operations
Sound instincts for system architecture, data flows, failure points, and maintainability
Ability to determine when an agentic/AI approach versus a deterministic pipeline is appropriate
Hands-on experience with AI-native coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, used to ship production solutions
Coding experience preferred in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript; experience working with APIs and deploying built solutions
Ability to drive complex projects independently under ambiguity without formal authority
GCP experience with Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub is an advantage
Experience building custom MCP servers is an advantage
Experience with billing or revenue systems, or an ERP implementation, is an advantage
