About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the management and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance
Ensure maintenance quality and adherence to deadlines
Manage warranties
Monitor the quality of supplier services
Verify compliance with safety standards across sites
Optimize costs and monitor energy and water consumption
Participate in the implementation of reinvestment projects (PPAD)
Provide technical support and train local teams
Organize documentation and use maintenance management tools
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Conduct regular inspections and technical site assessments
Oversee maintenance companies and manage service contracting
Plan and control the maintenance budget
Manage service requests and analyze KPIs
Analyze conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering designs
Propose and develop retrofits, upgrades, and local modifications to assets and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo, SP, with availability for occasional technical visits to sites/stores
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
Intermediate English proficiency
Experience in building maintenance and asset management in the retail sector, multi-store networks, shopping centers, or large commercial developments
Knowledge of the critical analysis and coordination of basic and detailed engineering designs
Knowledge of maintainability, operational accessibility, and technical standardization
Strong practical knowledge of HVAC and climate-control systems, including CAG systems, VRF systems, direct expansion, and PMOC
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and automation, including primary substations/substations, distribution boards, UPS systems, diesel generators, and BMS/building automation systems
Strong knowledge of fire protection and firefighting systems, including detection and alarm systems, sprinklers, and fire hydrants, in compliance with AVCB requirements and Fire Department regulations
Strong knowledge of civil and plumbing systems, including roof waterproofing, sewage networks, grease traps, and potable water tanks
