About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with setting up systems in preparation for imaging
Install above-baseline software and perform quality checks
Package and prepare systems for shipment to IRS depot centers
Work with the Service Manager to address logistics management requests
Receive incoming equipment shipments and update the asset management database and inventory records
Manage and track inventory using barcode scanners and related technology
Provide deskside and remote support as needed for IRS employees

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Completed IRS Minimum Background Investigation or ability to clear IRS Minimum Background Investigation
Basic computer support skills to sanitize equipment according to IRS procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience with inventory management technology
Knowledge of database applications for asset management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle physical tasks such as packing and shipping equipment
