About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets
Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and solid principles
Develop comprehensive unit test suites with high code coverage using mocking frameworks such as Moq and NSubstitute
Support and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications while planning modernization strategies
Engage in the application design process as a technical contributor
Troubleshoot advanced production issues in collaboration with DevOps
Stay up to date on advanced programming techniques and software technologies
Contribute to investments and research that fuel innovation and technological advancements
Document and communicate proposed software solutions with the integrated, cross-functional Development team in a fast-paced, highly technical environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret Clearance (required)
Associate degree with a minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience
Security+ Certification REQUIRED
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion
Ability to work independently and as part of a development team
Experience with the Agile software development process in accordance with USG defined requirements
Experience developing applications in .NET
Experience developing in a Cloud environment
Experience working with hybrid/remote development teams
Ability to translate highly technical discussions into executable plans
Experience in system integration is a plus
Experience working on a GIS application is desired
Experience with Oracle is desired
Experience with AWS EC2 is desired
Familiarity with basic server administration tasks is desired
Familiarity working with IA (Information Assurance) and QA is desired
Experience developing in Java is desired
