About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical software applications
Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles
Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer
Support and maintain legacy .NET Framework applications under senior developer direction
Contribute to scoped portions of application design
Assist senior developers and DevOps with triaging production issues
Document assigned work and communicate status to a cross-functional development team
Build working knowledge of the program’s technology stack and Agile process
Stay current on programming techniques and software technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret clearance (required)
0–2 years of relevant programming/software development experience
Obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire date (required)
Object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles
Exposure to cloud environments, specifically AWS EC2
Experience working on a GIS application
Experience with Oracle
Experience developing in Java
Familiarity with basic server administration tasks
Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) and QA
