About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as part of the Product and Development team and PBU team on software products for hospital and healthcare environments
- Work closely with the Orbis Product Manager to define, prioritize, document, and communicate product features, functional requirements, and technical specifications
- Provide product and domain expertise for presales activities, product development, and customer engagements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clinical domain experts, customers, and the global development team
- Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements
- Translate customer needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and product features
- Support Regional and Global Product Managers in defining standardized business processes, solution services, clinical workflows, care activities, and functional transactions
- Evaluate market opportunities and product enhancements and identify potential technology applications and offerings
- Collaborate with technical and development teams to deliver solutions according to defined requirements
- Support quality assurance by contributing to test scenarios, reviewing and updating test scripts, managing testing feedback, and maintaining system documentation and product updates
- Identify, assess, and manage clinical safety risks and issues throughout the software development lifecycle with the Clinical Safety Quality Assurance Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience working as a business analyst with an EMR, either in a vendor organization or health environment
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
- Experience working with information technology with functional groups within an organization
- Experience with business processes and re-engineering
- Experience with contemporary engagement methods, including Proof of Concepts
- Experience with application design and delivery methodologies, including Waterfall/Agile
- Healthcare domain knowledge, clinical or health IT background (vendor experience)
- Knowledge of ANZ healthcare processes and requirements
- Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Presentation skills to present to management and customers
