About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Resolve client issues through support tickets while meeting SLA requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, Service Delivery Manager, and Team Lead to ensure exceptional service
  • Handle basic to complex issues requested by end users
  • Document detailed notes, track time accurately, and update technical documentation
  • Manage email tickets and escalate to Escalation Engineer when needed
  • Mentor teammates and train users on supported software and hardware
  • Identify and communicate potential major incidents to the Team Lead
  • Troubleshoot and create workarounds when standard procedures do not apply
  • Assist with software installations and vendor management
  • Maintain timely case follow-up and keep clients updated
  • Collaborate on client projects with the fCIO and POD teammates
  • Provide support through calls, chat, and email using ConnectWise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years in a helpdesk or similar advanced technical role, required
  • Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP), required
  • Previous Healthcare IT experience preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting medical clients, EMR systems, and HIPAA compliance preferred
  • Experience with ConnectWise preferred
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting medical software and equipment is a plus
  • Support workstation hardware, Windows/Mac OS software, and mobile devices
  • Manage and troubleshoot Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and collaboration tools
  • Basic troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations
  • Support Windows environments and virtual servers
  • File permissions and Active Directory administration
  • EMR/EHR vendor coordination
  • Ability to provide end-user training and mentorship
  • Professional demeanor for executive and senior leadership support
  • Ability to perform periodic onsite fieldwork, including bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment weighing 60 pounds or more
  • Ability to safely climb ladders, work at elevated heights, and stand or walk for extended durations
