About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the vision and prioritized roadmap for PACS and Viewer
  • Lead product discovery with radiologists across specialties
  • Translate clinical workflows into intuitive navigation and efficient access to imaging and clinical information
  • Define diagnostic viewing capabilities including hanging protocols, multi-monitor layouts, series navigation, longitudinal comparison, prior relevance, measurements, annotations, and modality-specific tools
  • Shape integration with advanced visualization and subspecialty applications
  • Prioritize PACS image ingestion, routing, storage, retrieval, reconciliation, sharing, and lifecycle management
  • Address operational needs of PACS administrators, imaging informatics teams, and enterprise customers
  • Partner with worklist, reporting, and AI product leaders to maintain patient and study context
  • Define requirements for cloud and hybrid deployments, legacy PACS coexistence, archive migration, and historical-study access
  • Prioritize interoperability with modalities, RIS, EHR, and third-party imaging systems
  • Establish performance expectations for image loading, series navigation, prior availability, large-study responsiveness, and service reliability
  • Maintain requirements, acceptance criteria, and release priorities
  • Coordinate clinical validation, pilot feedback, launch readiness, and post-release improvements
  • Develop investment proposals and contribute to pricing, packaging, competitive positioning, and sales enablement
  • Align internal teams and technology partners around product outcomes
  • Mentor product managers and product owners
  • Track adoption, user satisfaction, workflow efficiency, support burden, retention, and product economics
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams on intended use, risk controls, requirements traceability, and release evidence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, health informatics, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant healthcare technology experience
  • At least 7 years in product management
  • Significant responsibility for PACS or diagnostic viewer products
  • Demonstrated success bringing commercial imaging software to market and improving products used in daily clinical practice
  • Deep understanding of radiologist reading workflows, multi-modality imaging, prior comparison, and enterprise PACS operations
  • Ability to evaluate diagnostic viewer usability and performance with clinicians and translate findings into actionable product decisions
  • Practical knowledge of DICOM, DICOMweb, HL7, FHIR, and relevant IHE workflows
  • Experience with cloud or hybrid imaging products, enterprise integrations, and complex customer deployments
  • Strong commercial judgment and disciplined investment and prioritization decision-making
  • Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to work meetings during normal Eastern Time hours
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States or Canada, or address sponsorship requirements
