About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the senior React engineering specialist within a cross-functional platform team
Own front-end solution components from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment and stabilization
Provide guidance on architecture, code quality, reusable patterns and integration with Microsoft cloud services
Design and build responsive React applications and reusable component libraries using TypeScript
Apply modern React patterns including functional components, hooks, state management and modular architecture
Integrate front ends with REST APIs and Microsoft services using secure authentication and authorization patterns
Implement automated unit, component and end-to-end tests and support quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
Optimize applications for accessibility, browser compatibility, performance, observability and maintainability
Conduct code reviews, identify technical debt and guide sustainable remediation
Collaborate with UX, architects, backend developers and business stakeholders
Create concise technical documentation and transfer knowledge to internal developers
Deliver production-ready React features and reusable components aligned with acceptance criteria
Define front-end architecture decisions, coding standards and integration documentation
Produce automated test evidence, peer-review outcomes and deployment instructions
Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and provide actionable technical-debt recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of software development experience with substantial recent delivery experience in React and TypeScript
Proven ownership of production React applications and scalable front-end architecture
Strong knowledge of component design, state management, API integration and asynchronous programming
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and front-end build tooling
Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design, performance and secure web development
Professional English and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly
Preferred: Integrating React components with Dataverse, Dynamics 365 or Power Platform, for example as PCF controls
Preferred: Microsoft Entra ID, Azure App Service, Azure Functions or API Management
Preferred: Design systems, UI libraries and application telemetry
Preferred: Structured software testing experience
Delivery-oriented: commits to realistic outcomes and raises blockers early
Quality-focused: uses reviews, testing, documentation and the four-eyes principle before release
Collaborative: works visibly in the team backlog and actively transfers knowledge
Pragmatic and accountable: selects maintainable solutions and communicates progress, risks and dependencies clearly
