About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical responsibility for customer integrations, from process and requirements clarification through to stable implementation
Product-focused further development of the C++ core components in the scheduling framework
Making clear, traceable architecture and technology decisions for integration paths and the area of responsibility
Ensuring delivery quality through automated testing, clean build processes, and practical CI/CD standards
Clear, solution-oriented communication of technical matters with customers, without account or project management responsibility
Co-developing guidelines and engineering standards
Gradually taking on technical product ownership responsibilities
Developing toward a technical leadership role
Working with the Co-CEO Product & Technology on customer integrations and product-focused development
Establishing technical standards and integration paths, as well as taking on architecture and product ownership responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience—typically 5+ years—with modern C++17/20/23, the STL, and Boost
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for Clean Code, as well as SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and design patterns
Proficiency with CMake, Git, unit testing with GoogleTest, debugging, and profiling
Strong sense of ownership, pragmatism, and commitment to quality
Clear, factual communication internally and externally
German language skills at B2 level
English language skills at C1 level
Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
Nice to have: Knowledge of cross-platform and Windows builds
Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD, Linux, and Docker
