Technical responsibility for customer integrations, from process and requirements clarification through stable implementation
Product-focused further development of core C++ components in the scheduling framework
Making clear, well-founded architecture and technology decisions for integration paths and the area of responsibility
Ensuring delivery quality through automated tests, clean build processes, and practical CI/CD standards
Clear, solution-oriented communication of technical matters with customers, without account or project management responsibility
Developing guidelines and engineering standards to support the continued growth of the team
Gradual assumption of technical product ownership responsibilities
Long-term development toward technical leadership
Working directly with Matthäus, Co-CEO Product & Technology, on customer integrations and product-focused development
Setting technical standards and shaping integration paths

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience—typically 5+ years—with modern C++17/20/23
Knowledge of the STL and Boost
Enthusiasm for Clean Code and principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and design patterns
Proficiency with CMake, Git, unit testing with GoogleTest, debugging, and profiling
Strong sense of ownership, pragmatism, and commitment to quality
Clear, factual communication, both internally and externally
German proficiency at B2 level
English proficiency at C1 level
Nice to have: Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
Nice to have: Knowledge of cross-platform and Windows builds
Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD, Linux, and Docker
Willingness to submit a CV and, optionally, GitHub, repositories, or references
