About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide end-to-end legal support to Deezer's Partnerships and Product & Tech operational teams
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and IT agreements, including distribution, SaaS and outsourcing agreements
- Act as legal point of contact for Partnerships and Product & Tech teams on contractual and compliance matters
- Provide general legal advice and conduct risk assessments
- Monitor, analyze and implement French, European and other key-market regulatory developments
- Focus on data protection and regulations including EU GDPR, AI Act, DSA and Data Act
- Maintain and update internal legal documentation
- Improve legal processes and update contract templates
- Populate the legal team's knowledge base
- Collaborate with Partnerships, Product & Tech, Marketing, Music Licensing, Finance and IT teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree (Bac+5) in new technologies, contract, data protection or intellectual property law or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience post-internship
- Experience ideally gained in a tech company on related matters or within a law firm's IT or commercial practice
- Solid foundation in technology sector regulations and contract law
- Knowledge of competition/distribution law is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in French and English, written and spoken, required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders
- Proactive and solution-oriented
