About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform assessments, solution design, and implementations of enterprise Digital Workplace solutions across Microsoft technologies
Design and deploy solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Teams, and Purview
Deliver customer-facing workshops covering Microsoft 365 Copilot, Security, Data Governance, and Teams
Lead large and complex engagements, manage client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery
Provide technical oversight for project teams, identify delivery gaps, support escalations, and keep projects on track
Communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, IT managers, and executive stakeholders
Support project scoping and develop and present Statements of Work and Service Orders as needed
Coach and mentor team members and contribute to professional development
Review and contribute to engagement deliverables and work products
Collaborate with presales teams to scope engagements, define timelines, and develop proposal content
Identify additional client service opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to support business growth
Contribute to presentations, industry events, marketing initiatives, and technical thought leadership
Develop best practices, reference architectures, and technical resources

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in Microsoft environment architecture and solution design across on-premises and cloud-based services
Hands-on experience designing and deploying Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Purview solutions
Proven client-facing consulting experience with technical and executive stakeholders
Strong understanding of Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Microsoft security and compliance, and endpoint management
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Experience supporting, administering, and architecting on-premises and cloud-based environments supporting 1,000+ concurrent users
Ability to perform non-cloud-related technical work, including configuration of on-premises Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory and Certificate Services
Strong understanding of the broader Microsoft technology stack
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate business, operational, and financial objectives into effective technical solutions
Experience with Windows 365 or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) preferred
Experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred
Experience with third-party Microsoft ecosystem solutions such as Quest, ShareGate, or BitTitan preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant technical certifications and professional experience will also be considered
Must possess at least one certification from each category: Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate OR Endpoint Administrator Associate; Microsoft Information Security Administrator Associate OR Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
Strong leadership, collaboration, organizational, time management, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight
Availability for extended client and project meetings
Must be available to work PST or MST business hours
Candidates residing in Western states are strongly preferred; candidates outside Western states receive lower priority
