About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and submit accurate builder invoices for completed work
Verify billed work against job records, approved scopes, and pricing
Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation
Prepare quotes for extra work outside the original scope
Submit and track EPO/VPO requests through approval
Ensure approved EPOs/VPOs are billed correctly and on time
Monitor aging reports and identify past-due builder invoices
Follow up with builders on overdue invoices via calls, emails, and builder portals
Document follow-ups and escalate long-outstanding balances
Investigate disputed invoices, EPOs, and VPOs
Communicate with builders and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Issue corrections, credits, or resubmissions when required
Process, post, and reconcile builder payments against open invoices
Identify and follow up on short payments, overpayments, and unapplied funds
Maintain accurate payment records for reporting
Provide AR status updates and aging summaries to management
Coordinate with Operations and Field teams on completed and extra work details
Recommend process improvements to accelerate billing and reduce disputes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
2–5+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience, preferably in construction, home building, or trade services
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters) and Google Sheets
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
Experience using builder/vendor portals (e.g., SupplyPro, BuildPro, Hyphen) is a plus
Strong understanding of the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, payment posting, and reconciliation
Familiarity with EPOs (Extra Purchase Orders) and VPOs (Variance Purchase Orders) in residential construction
Ability to manage multiple builder accounts in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
