About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

First point of contact for internal colleagues regarding IT and infrastructure matters
Support and installation of customer applications
Analysis of technical issues
Setup and maintenance of monitoring systems
Loading and testing databases
Coordination with the data center partner
Responsibility for onboarding and offboarding new employees
Provision and management of required hardware
Handling administrative and commercial matters
Management of all licenses
Procurement of IT infrastructure hardware
Participation in IT projects
Maintaining and further developing security standards in the Windows Server environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed IT education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university) or extensive experience as an IT generalist in a Windows environment
Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Good understanding of IT security standards and best practices in a Windows environment
Experience providing IT support to internal users and serving as the first point of contact for IT issues
Fluent German
Very good written and spoken English
Enjoyment of taking ownership of infrastructure projects
Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL Server/Oracle) (nice to have)
Knowledge of cloud services (Microsoft Azure, O365) and Linux (nice to have)
Initial experience in project delivery (nice to have)
Experience with ticketing systems, such as Zendesk or Jira (nice to have)
Experience with endpoint/device management (nice to have)
Knowledge of SSO (OpenID, SAML), 2FA, firewalls (IDS), anti-spam, SPF, DKIM, and VLANs (nice to have)
