About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage DelfinGroup's full portfolio of IT projects from intake through delivery
  • Coordinate business stakeholders, IT Product Owners, Architects, System Analysts, Development, QA, and external vendors
  • Organize backlogs, project plans, priorities, and resource needs
  • Run sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog management
  • Manage external vendor relationships, contracts, work acceptance, and delay resolution
  • Identify and escalate risks and dependencies early
  • Establish and maintain regular project status reporting for management and stakeholders
  • Improve project planning, progress tracking, sprint planning, resource coordination, information flow, and delivery processes
  • Manage several projects in parallel and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
  • Contribute to improving project management and software development practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years managing IT or software development projects
  • Demonstrable track record including project scope, budget, timelines, and actual results vs. plan
  • Experience managing several parallel projects sharing development resources
  • Experience working with external vendors, including contracts, work acceptance, and resolving delays
  • Experience in a regulated industry is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and MS Office
  • Active, effective use of AI and automation tools in daily work
  • Ability to describe tools used, applied tasks, and measurable results achieved
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / PSM certification is a plus but not required
  • Latvian at a high level for business communication and documentation
  • English at a professional level for technical documentation and vendors
  • Ability to coordinate stakeholders, resources, timelines, budgets, and risks
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently
