About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, deploy, and maintain virtualized infrastructure environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms
- Manage and optimize server, storage, and network infrastructure for high availability and performance
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues across physical and virtual environments
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT, security, and engineering teams on infrastructure projects and automation initiatives
- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Dell's enterprise IT infrastructure with a focus on virtualization technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or related technical roles
- Proven hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or similar platforms)
- Strong expertise in Windows Server and/or Linux environments administration
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls) and storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models
- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Server+ (desirable)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), automation/scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform), and IT security best practices (desirable)
