About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate actuarial processes and non-functional requirements into clear platform requirements
- Validate solution suitability against business, control, and operational needs
- Represent the specialist business domain in workshops, design forums, and governance discussions
- Review process and data impacts across the end-to-end solution
- Validate assumptions, requirements, controls, and outputs
- Support prioritisation, testing, issue resolution, and formal business acceptance
- Work closely with business SMEs, technology, data, and testing teams to ensure alignment to the target solution
- Support a transformation programme within a large life and pensions business
- Help shape critical platform capability for the Foundation platform (Core Enablement)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong background in actuarial processes, platform change, or business transformation within financial services
- Experience translating business and non-functional needs into platform or solution requirements
- Ability to assess process, data, and control impacts across complex environments
- Experience supporting testing, business acceptance, and issue resolution
- Confident acting as a subject-matter representative in design and governance forums
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to challenge assumptions and validate requirements effectively
- Comfortable working in a complex, regulated, enterprise-scale environment
- Availability through January 2027
