Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise Irish and multinational clients on transfer pricing matters across advisory, documentation, controversy, and audit-related work
  • Manage project teams throughout the transfer pricing project lifecycle
  • Lead client interviews and discussions
  • Assess overall functional and risk profiles
  • Apply industry and client value-driver analysis
  • Perform economic analysis using quantitative evidence and appropriate transfer pricing methods
  • Understand client and Deloitte strategic objectives
  • Deliver exceptional client service and maximise results
  • Drive high performance and foster collaboration across businesses and borders
  • Collaborate with Transfer Pricing Partners and wider tax teams on business development initiatives
  • Support talent development through formal and informal coaching and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Assistant Manager or equivalent level
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply knowledge of current and proposed transfer pricing legislation, including OECD, EU, and IRS guidance
  • Experience in financial services transactions such as insurance, funds, or banking is beneficial
  • Experience in dispute resolution matters, including APA and MAP projects, is beneficial
  • Experience managing project teams throughout the transfer pricing project lifecycle
  • Ability to lead client interviews and discussions
  • Ability to assess functional and risk profiles
  • Ability to apply industry and client value-driver analysis
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and use quantitative evidence in economic analysis
  • Knowledge of appropriate transfer pricing methods for pricing transactions
  • Experience using economic analysis databases
  • Ability to communicate firm and client strategic objectives
  • Ability to establish long-term productive client and Deloitte tax-team relationships
