About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and distribute client reports regularly in line with established standards
Collect and analyse portfolio data to produce accurate, informative reports
Support and back up regulatory reporting activities
Answer client questions about reports and investment performance
Collaborate with portfolio management, compliance and sales to maintain accurate and consistent information
Contribute to projects that optimise reporting processes and report quality
Write functional specifications
Work with architecture and IT on data processing, including analysis, modelling, cleansing and mapping

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree or equivalent in financial markets or IT
Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and their workflows
Business analysis experience, with exposure to data management and data visualisation in the financial industry
At least intermediate proficiency in SQL
Ability to navigate a conceptual data model
Initial experience in reporting or data analysis in asset management is advantageous
Python, Spark or another data-oriented language is advantageous
Data modelling skills and familiarity with relational databases and business intelligence are advantageous
Ability to take initiative and challenge the status quo
Ability to use evidence to explain decisions
Ability to write clear procedures
Ability to adapt communication to technical and non-technical audiences
Required languages: English and French
