About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the local single point of contact for a Luxembourg bank's group-wide cybersecurity programme
- Turn the group action plan into a local roadmap covering scope, milestones, owners and dependencies
- Report progress, risks and decisions to the group and escalate deviations early
- Assess cyber risks, define mitigations and track residual risk against risk appetite
- Improve controls across identity and access, change and platform security, resilience, vulnerability and attack-surface management, and third-party risk
- Coordinate security reviews, regulatory alignment and remediation with assurance functions and third parties
- Provide pragmatic security guidance to delivery teams and hand over controls with lasting ownership
- Support the IT security team on risk assessments, incidents and audits when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years in IT security, IT risk or security governance, including local delivery ownership in a cross-functional, group-led project
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, OWASP, PCI DSS and DORA
- Experience with firewalls, proxies, DLP, antivirus, PAM, WAF and SIEM
- Agile delivery and DevSecOps experience
- Experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office
- Master’s degree in IT security, computer science or risk management, or equivalent experience
- Banking experience is an advantage
- Git, Azure Pipelines or scripting, and familiarity with Azure-based environments are advantageous
- A security or project-management certification is advantageous
- Good command of English required
- Conversational proficiency in French required
