About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advising domestic and international clients on all aspects and stages of restructuring and insolvency, particularly debtor-in-possession proceedings
Handling challenging and diverse matters with a high degree of autonomy and close client contact
Advising companies, entrepreneurs, customers, and creditors in connection with restructuring cases
Drafting contracts
Advising on corporate transactions, particularly distressed M&A
Establishing processes in close cooperation with our clients, in some cases on-site at the company
Direct involvement in client advisory work
Working with national and international clients and team members within a global network

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two above-average German State Examinations in Law
Experience in the described field, for example gained during legal traineeship
Fluent, negotiation-level English skills, both written and spoken
Strong interest in business and financial matters
Highly developed ability to develop creative, compromise-oriented solutions
Enthusiasm for teamwork combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
Committed and motivated personality
