About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with scheduling and contact center activities
- Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments for new and existing patients at all locations
- Collect and document patient medical history in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide comprehensive administrative and patient support using advanced virtual technologies
- Deliver timely and accurate information, scheduling, and assistance
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a virtual environment
- Perform other duties as assigned as requirements evolve
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Healthcare-specific training preferred, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor
- Empathy and a caring attitude toward patients
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to US HIPAA laws and other relevant regulations
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Quiet, private workspace
- Must live in Alabama or Mississippi
- Availability for full-time Monday–Friday work, 10:30 am–6:30 pm CST, with one Saturday per 8 weeks, 6:45 am–12:30 pm CST
