About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential clients to promote and sell Desjardins products and services
  • Act as an account manager and key intermediary between the business centre and members and clients
  • Ensure proper usage, updating, and satisfaction with products and services offered
  • Analyze dissatisfaction sources and recommend solutions
  • Identify and analyze needs, develop personalized solutions, prepare integrated service offerings, and negotiate conditions
  • Recommend strategies and solutions to increase business volume, manage risk prudently, improve portfolio profitability, and strengthen relationships
  • Identify business development opportunities to increase competitiveness of products and services
  • Execute promotional activities and participate in targeted public relations and business community activities
  • Address client and member needs, pursue opportunities, ensure satisfaction, and make referrals as needed
  • Follow applicable policies, practices, standards, and laws while managing portfolio risk
  • Represent, negotiate, and engage companies in strategic agreements of significant importance to the centre's business
  • Act as a leader and influencer and share expertise with unit members as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Compliance with policies, practices, standards, and laws governing the distribution of financial products and services
