About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect, solicit, develop and maintain business relationships with big strategic clients operating in the commercial sector
  • Promote and sell Desjardins products and services to grow the centre’s business
  • Represent, negotiate and engage companies as part of highly complex and innovative agreements
  • Ensure consistency and balance between sales objectives, risk management, portfolio profitability and member, client and partner satisfaction
  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Act as an account manager and key intermediary between the business centre and members and clients
  • Ensure proper usage and updating of, as well as satisfaction with, products and services offered
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend potential solutions
  • Identify and analyze member and client needs, develop personalized solutions and prepare integrated service offerings
  • Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
  • Recommend strategies and solutions to increase business volume, manage risk, improve portfolio profitability and strengthen business relationships
  • Identify business development opportunities using intelligence
  • Execute promotional activities and participate in targeted public relations activities and the business community
  • Attend to client and member needs, seize business opportunities and refer them to the right person when needed
  • Adhere to applicable policies, practices, standards and laws governing financial product and service distribution
  • Provide sound and prudent risk management for all portfolios under responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
