About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the department and manage a team dedicated to selling financial products and services
- Develop and monitor business plans addressing priorities, challenges and objectives
- Ensure sector performance and sound, prudent risk management
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with members and clients
- Support the development of business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s strategic priorities
- Ensure service quality, business relationships and member/client experience
- Implement and monitor action plans to achieve target results
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to develop skills, boost engagement and empower employees
- Implement and develop a competitive, profitable service offer with partnerships across the organization
- Ensure process efficiency, continuous improvement and profitability
- Promote the Desjardins brand and strengthen community roots
- Uphold Desjardins’s cooperative values
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
